Background Check Disclosure Policy

1. Purpose

NannyAndNuzzle conducts background checks on all Service Providers to ensure the safety of our Customers. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights.

2. What We Check

• Criminal history (county, state, and federal levels)
• Sex offender registry status
• Identity verification
• Professional license verification (where applicable)
• Driving record (for driving-related services)

3. Consent

By signing up as a Provider, you consent to background screening. You will be asked to provide personal information necessary for the screening, including full name, date of birth, SSN (last 4 digits), and address history.

4. FCRA Compliance

Background checks are conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). If adverse action is taken based on background check results, you will receive a pre-adverse action notice and a copy of the report, with an opportunity to dispute the findings.

5. Data Handling

Background check information is handled confidentially, stored securely, and retained only as long as necessary for compliance and safety purposes.

You have the right to:

• Dispute inaccurate information
• Know how the information was used in any decision
